How can you love someone else if you don’t know how to love yourself first?  For me, self-love is being comfortable with who I am, bringing with it a sense of wholeness – nothing will be missing. Being 100% OK with being me. Being authentic.

Knowing who I am and who I am not. Listening to my mind chatter, feelings, emotions and needs. Putting in place healthy boundaries also enable me to understand what I will allow in my life and not. And then keeping to it.

Accepting who I am in my mind, heart and soul. Being vulnerable and open about the dark side of myself and bringing forward my light.

If I know, accept, and LOVE myself – then I’m in a state of self-being. Being who I am and not being run by my ego, society or others.
